I’ll definitely sign it. And for sure hope your daughter is having a wonderful year in Kindergarten. I was just telling my students today that kindergarten is a German word and means “childrens garden”…they thought that was a neat idea. Hopefully I’ll have an album for you by March my friend. I really can’t complain too much about the sound. A lot of it might have to do with the acoustics of the room itself, but honestly, I could hear everything–drums, guitar, bass, vocals … it sounded pretty great. Not to mention that this particular show was $10, and it’s one of the more expensive shows coming through there. However, I absolutely will acquiece to your point about the heat. Wow. Every now and then, the AC kicked in and blew a bit of relief across the sweltering crowd, but other than that, it was stifling. Probably due to the proximity of the stage light, I would bet. Either that or the shows themselves are just that hot, and yah–this show was!

I’m glad you had a good time! I still say it’s a horrible venue – I like to hear a band when I see them. So unless they’ve improved the sound system there since I moved away, I think tickets are overpriced. Sure, you get intimacy, but there are tons of clubs here in Denver that are equally small with great intimacy and a good sound system. So yeah, still not a fan

Did you ever make it a show at The Depot? One of my favorite venues here in UT. There and Red Butte Gardens. Haven’t been to the Urban Lounge yet, so I guess we’ll see how that is, but you’re not the first person I’ve heard say that either, so I’m not going in with the greatest of expectations.

Thanks, Angela. It’s been a pretty rough few days. We’re looking on KSL for some other puppies, but you know how it is … how do you replace the one you just lost? You never really do.
